Hawkins, James Maddock, Will Lee, and Phoebe Snow, among many others. Drew and his twin brother Doug Yowell (drummer for Joe Jackson, Suzanne Vega, Duncan Sheik, Sharon Corr and many others) both appear in the MTV music video for Sophie B Hawkins’ “Damn I Wish I Was Your Lover.” Drew also co-wrote two songs with the late Phoebe Snow including the title track to her final release “Natural Wonder." The song also appears on Phoebe's 2008 "Live" release. Phoebe Snow described the songs that she co-wrote with Drew wrote as "two of the most beautiful songs I've ever written with anyone." Drew produces and composes music for MTV, VH1, BET, Comedy Central, LOGO, and Centric, as well as other entertainment companies. Through his partnership with Earshock, Drew recently co-wrote the theme song for the hit tv series Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making The Team working with Cassadee Pope (winner of The Voice), producing her vocals at the legendary Blackbird Studios in Nashville, TN. Drew was also a Top 20 Finalist in the 2007 American Idol Songwriter Contest for the co-written song titled "Secrets and Lies." As a solo artist - he's brought people to their feet with his emotional performances from NY to Nashville. ​As a songwriter - he continues to hone his craft with both solo material and songs co-written with fellow songwriters such as Phoebe Now and Ari Hest, among others.. Drew Yowell has a unique ability to capture different styles, utilizing his wealth of experience and vast talents.
